Bob Odenkirk made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday (August 12) and teased the upcoming fifth season of his hit AMC series, Better Call Saul!
“We’re almost at the end of [filming] it. I promise you, all the fans of Better Call Saul, this is for sure the best season ever,” the 56-year-old actor told Jimmy. “I’m just knocked out. Five, they’re pouring all their focus and attention on it.”
“The show was created by Vince Gilligan, who did Breaking Bad, and Peter Gould – these two guys and this amazing writing stuff are just rolling,” Bob continued. “The wheels are coming off the cart.”
Bob also talked about his fourth Emmy nomination for Better Call Saul, writing his memoir, playing a character on The Simpsons, and randomly discovers that his son Nate works as an intern on our show.
The 2019 Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday, September 22 at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Fox will air the show live.
