Sam Faiers reveals she’s been TROLLED for boyfriend Paul Knightley not proposing yet

Sam Faiers has revealed that she’s been trolled over boyfriend Paul Knightley not proposing to her yet, saying she gets upset over the remarks.

The Mummy Diaries star, 28, has been with Paul for several years, with the couple sharing son Paul Jr and daughter Rosie.

However, Paul is yet to pop the question to Sam, despite her dream of getting married in the near future following sister Billie’s lavish wedding to husband Greg Shepherd.

Mother-of-two Sam has now revealed that she takes comments begging Paul to propose personally, but has learned to laugh off the cruel remarks.

She told The Mirror: “I’m not engaged yet.

“He doesn’t take anything personally which is good, I do sometimes.”

Sam added that she’s often trolled over her relationship with Paul, particularly in one recent photo of them together in which they’re seen together at the Goodwood Races.

Trolls claimed Paul hadn’t “put his arm around her” in the snap.

Speaking of the vile comments, Sam revealed: “It bores him a bit. It's like here we go again or he finds it really funny.

"We posted a picture at the races and as he's got something in his hand you can't see it and you can't see it, people are like you don't even put your arm around her properly.

"People are so [cruel]. They're always going to be. It's fine."

The confession comes after Sam opened up on her Trichtillomania diagnosis, after revealing she has been picking her eyelashes out since she was seven.

Ahead of series six of The Mummy Diaries, Sam opened up to us about her hope for the future: “the end goal is to have a full set of eyelashes and have an eyelash party. Yes, I want to go mascara shopping and have an eyelash party but its not happening this series unfortunately, maybe next.”

The former glamour model recently revealed the trigger for her Trichtillomania was when her step father went to prison during her childhood.

She began to pluck out her eyelashes so she could blow on them and wish for his return.

However, she was inspired to stop when she realised her own daughter was copying her bad habit.

She described how when she was breastfeeding one year old Rosie: “subconsciously I might have been rubbing my eyes and feeling for eyelashes and I noticed she would copy me…That was a big red flag for me. I thought ‘no this has got to stop.’

“I am happy to talk about it. That is the biggest part of trich, confronting it, owning up to it… But since that day, that was when I really kind of thought ‘right I need to stop this now.’”

Sam’s therapy will be covered in this series of The Mummy Diaries because she now feels ready to tackle it head on: “I have never really spoken out about it as much. I have, but I have been a bit more closed about it. Whereas now I am really confident talking about it and I want to help other people.”

The reality star also suffers from Crohn’s disease, which causes inflammation in her bowels. Sam was diagnosed with the devastating illness after she fell poorly during her 2014 stint on Celebrity Big Brother.

Symptoms of the disease include mouth ulcers, stomach pain, weight loss, vomiting and diarrhoea.

However Sam bravely opened up about her suffering, something she believes, along with talking about her Trichtillomania, is “so important.”

Sam told us last year that: “Since I had the kids I’ve never had a flare up. I was on medication for about a year [after diagnosis] and then I weened myself off of that and I just researched things that are a bit more natural, so vitamins and minerals and a change in diet.”
