Home Bargains is selling a huge 4ft2 elf toy for £20

YOU can get in the Christmas spirit early this year by picking up a HUGE elf plush toy at Home Bargains.

A shopper has spotted Santa's (not so) little helper for £19.99 at the bargain store, and it measures nearly 4ft2inches at 127cm.

It could be the perfect toy for the little ones to snuggle up with as we head for colder weather, but keep in mind it's not suitable for kids below three years old.

The polyester elf was spotted by Facebook page Money Saver Online in Home Bargains' store in Thanet, Kent.

The picture of the toy proved popular and one user tagged her friend and said: "You best go grab one for Bonnie for Christmas, she'd love this."

While another added: "Need this elf – Samuel will go crazy if this arrived."

And a third wrote: "Might have to buy him and sit him beside the tree this year."

The toys have currently sold out on Home Bargains website, so we've asked whether it'll get more stock and whether it's available in all stores, but we haven't heard back yet.

In the meantime, you might want to pop by your nearest Home Bargains store to see whether it's selling the elf or simply give it a ring beforehand.

Home Bargains has more than 500 stores across the UK. You can find your nearest one as well as contact details by using its store locator tool.

If you miss out, eBay is selling a smaller version measuring 100cm for a cheaper £16.98.

While Amazon is selling the same one as Home Bargains for a whopping £49.99, and that's excluding the £9.99 delivery fee.

Christmas started early at Home Bargains this year, as it's also selling CHRISTMAS Haribo Starmix with flavours such as eggnog and apple strudel.

The retailer has also rolled out a Reese's selection box for peanut butter lovers.

If you're not yet ready to think about Christmas, Home Bargains is selling a shimmery blood orange flavoured gin just in time for Halloween.
