The I-Land on Netflix streaming: How to watch online and download

New Netflix Original series The I-Land promises to be one of the most unmissable new dramas of the year so far. Based on an isolated island, 10 people wake up with no prior memory of who they are or how they got there but their exotic surroundings are not what they seem. With seven new episodes available to watch online at once, fans are keen to know how to stream The I-Land.

How to watch The I-Land online and download

Netflix will exclusively release every episode of the new drama online.

The I-Land is a Netflix Original series, meaning it won’t be available on the likes of Amazon Prime, Hulu or Sky.

As such, fans will need to sign up to the streaming service in order to watch the new episodes.

Luckily, there are several ways in which The I-Land fans can do so for free.

Netflix offers new subscribers a 30-day free trial to explore the service.

During the 30 days, customers will be able to stream and download to their heart’s content.

Once the trial is over there are a handful of different plans subscribers can sign up to.

To continue streaming The I-Land, fans can subscribe from as little as £5.99 a month.

The mobile app from Netflix also lets fans download every episode.

A full list of compatible mobile devices are detailed on Netflix’s website, but it includes most Apple an Android devices.

However fans decide to watch the new series, they won’t want to miss a moment.

If the tense trailer doesn’t win fans over, the synopsis is bound to do so.

Netflix’s official plotline for the series reads: “When 10 people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they set off on a trek to try to get back home.

“They soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the I-Land’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves -or die as their worst ones.”

The I-Land cast also boasts a number of big names sure to send excitement levels through the roof.

Superman Returns star and Teen Choice Award-winner Kate Bosworth leads the way as KC.

She’s joined by Kingdom and The Crossing star Natalie Martinez as Chase and Empire Award-nominee Alex Pettyfer as Brody.

Other actors to keep an eye out for include Kota Eberhardt, Sibylla Deen, Anthony Lee Medina, Ronald Peet and Maria Conchita Alonso.

The I-Land is available to stream on Netflix from Thursday, September 12.
