Comedian Rob Beckett has opened up about the vile abuse he receives about his teeth online, and how he brushes it off.
The Celebs Go Dating narrator is well known for his famous pearly white gnashers, but has confessed they’re often the subject of abusive messages on social media.
He told The Sun : “When I’m reacting or get over-excited they look like they’re running out me head.
"But what makes me laugh is that sometimes I get ready to go on telly, I look in the mirror and think, ‘You’re quite good looking’.
“And then I’ll get a message on Twitter , going, ‘You’re the ugliest b***tard I’ve ever seen’, and I’m like, ‘Who’s wrong here?’
"Because I feel like I look all right today. It must be somewhere in the middle.”
The TV star needs to be good at shrugging off online jibes, as he makes regular jokes about the cast of Celebs Go Dating when he narrates the show.
The comedian mocks stars including Kerry Katona, Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks nightly for their disastrous dating etiquette, sparing no feelings in the process.
However, viewers at home find his commentary hilarious, with many claiming he "makes the show".
"I literally only watch #celebsgodating for Rob Beckett’s commentary," one wrote recently, while another added: "Rob Beckett makes ‘Celeb’s go dating’ so much better than it already is. What a guy, I love him. # CelebsGoDating".
The comedian has been keeping us entertained with his funny reactions to the hit programme’s crazy goings-on ever since series one.
He also appears on many panel shows, and presents BBC’s All Together Now and Wedding Day Winners.
