Rapper DaBaby deactivated his Instagram account following a tragic death of his older brother Glen Johnson.
Johnson committed suicide in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, last Tuesday.
DaBaby didn’t explain the reason why he deactivated his social media account, although it is understandable that he would like to spend time with his family during these hard times.
The rapper was vocal about his grief and cited the lyrics from his 2017 Kirk track “Intro” to express his grief last week.
“My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family. Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy, n**ga,” he said.
DaBaby also revealed that he was seeking therapy to help deal with the grief.
“If you can’t get over depression GET HELP, you see a loved one struggling get them help, they refuse the help, MAKE em get treated anyway,” he wrote on Twitter. “You suffer from PTSD take that shit serious & get help. I’m bouta get a therapist my damn self!”
