Game of Thrones is fond of casting some of our favorite celebrities in cameo appearances, and stars like Rob McElhenney from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and singer Ed Sheeran have popped up on the HBO show. Some of these cameos are really a “blink and you’ll miss it moment,” and that was made even clearer when an NFL star barely even caught his own GoT scene.
According to USA Today Sports, Joey Bosa of the Los Angeles Chargers was cast in a bit part on the series, but he had some trouble locating himself during his scene. The defensive end appeared on season 8 episode 3 of the series, during the epic Battle of Winterfell.
He finally found his scene a whole week later (maybe it was too dark?), and he shared his discovery on Instagram, according to a Sports Illustrated tweet.
“After a few days of searching I think I found my big nose in the beginning of the battle of last weeks episode. It’s not much but I think we found it,” he wrote.
Joey Bosa thinks he found his cameo on #GameofThrones thanks to his “big nose” 😂

How did Joey Bosa get on Game of Thrones?
Bosa landed the cameo because he’s a huge fan of the series, and he also happens to be represented by the same agency that represents Game of Thrones. And it seems like the football player is actually quite alright with his quick cameo, as he had previously told Bleacher Report that he didn’t want to memorize any lines.
“Maybe one day. But as of now, no chance. I’m just not good at [acting]. I’ll either start laughing at myself if I’m trying to be serious, or I think I look super corny and won’t take myself seriously,” he said. “I’ve tried all the time when we do video shoots. When they tell me to show some personality, I never like doing any of that. I’m awkward out there.”
