Florida George Line’s Tyler Hubbard Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard revealed on Monday (November 9) that he has tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Some of y’all guessed it,” Hubbard wrote on Instagram. “Got the Rona. Asymptomatic. Quarantining on bus. Miss my family. Writing songs. Thankful.”

Hubbard hinted at his diagnosis in an Instagram post on Sunday night (Nov. 8), which showed his tour bus parked in his driveway. “Any ideas why I would have my tour bus parked in the driveway?” he asked in the caption.

His illness has made him unavailable for Wednesday’s CMA Awards telecast. He is the second artist to pull out of the event due to Covid-19 diagnosis after Lee Brice announced over the weekend that he won’t be there, having tested positive for the virus.

In a statement, the CMA said Hubbard was never on site for rehearsals prior to his positive test, adding, “It does reassure us that our protocols are working… Most importantly, it prevented anyone else from being exposed.”
