Beach life: Holly Willoughby enjoyed some downtime from her hectic schedule on Monday as she hit the beach on Australia’s Gold Coast with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four

Holly teamed her tiny denim shorts with a sporty black swimsuit, which displayed her bronzed figure, with her tan looking particularly impressive after almost a month Down Under.

The ITV star left her short blonde locks loose and sported minimal makeup for her hours away from the cameras, finishing her look with dark shades.

Holly was in great spirits, laughing out loud as Dan snapped away on his phone after the fun-loving couple buried their oldest two kids in the sand.

Strike a pose: TV producer Dan played photographer during the afternoon at the beach, as Holly posed with her children, who were buried up their their shoulders in the sand

Holly flaunted her legs as she laid down to pose on the sand as Dan, wearing a white vest and shorts, got the best angles behind the camera.

Fans rushed to Holly’s defense over the weekend after she was targeted by nasty trolls on social media for taking her children out of school during her I’m A Celebrity presenting stint.

The TV host posted a number of adorable photos on Instagram on Saturday of her reuniting with her little ones after a few weeks apart.

In one shot, the ITV star is seen grinning ear-to-ear as she rushes to hug her daughter Belle while sons Harry and Chester look on.

Captioning it, she wrote: ‘Wish every ad break would start like this…’

Yet, the heartwarming photos have caused outrage in the comments section, with keyboard warriors bashing her for taking her children out of school.

One wrote: ‘Why aren’t her children at school, looks like she’ll be getting a fine!’

‘Hope your kids have permission from school to be with you Holly,’ another shared. ‘Why aren’t they at school?’

A fourth posted: ‘Your kids should be at school not there you should be paying for them to stay at your hotel. I’d make sure it would come of your fee.’

In light of the negative commentary, Holly’s fans leapt to her defence as they fired back at the nasty trolls and showed their support for the ITV darling.

A fan shared: ‘She can’t win! People saying why aren’t the kids with her how can she leave them, then when they see them say how can she take them out of school jeeez!’

‘They have a full time tutor with them out there so get down off your high horse,’ another said.

‘They’re being schooled whilst in Australia,’ a loyal follower wrote. ‘She couldn’t leave her kids for months overseas.

‘Good luck to her at least she’s thinking about her family wherever she goes in the world. Obviously she’s allowed to take them with her as long as they’re being privately schooled so they don’t miss out on anything regarding their school work.’

A fan posted: ‘Leave her alone she has permission to take her kids out… and they are still doing school work plus her youngest is only 4 so back off when it comes to her children so go for it Holly’.

‘Holly’s children have a tutor so there is no problem,’ another wrote. ‘The life experience they are gaining too is invaluable.’

Holly has proven to be a huge success after she agreed to stand in for hosting alongside close friend Dec, after Ant McPartlin announced in August that he would be taking a break from hosting duties following his drink-drive arrest in March.

Holly stated at the time: ‘I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure.

‘I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery. These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit.’

Following the announcement attention soon turned whether her three children will be joining her Down Under.

In September, she revealed on This Morning that she had spent the summer organising the ‘logistics’ of her five-week move to Australia.

She told co-host Phillip Schofield at the time: ‘When I first found out, it’s obviously bitter sweet, but it was exciting.

You try and work out when you’ll go and how long for. The kids are coming with me so I’ve been speaking with the school seeing how that’s all going to work.

‘Dan’s coming with me, then all of a sudden that’s it, logistics are all sorted and you go oh, there’s going to be spiders and stuff.’

And following the speculation, she revealed that had hired private tutors to keep her children up-to-date with their school work and credited her kids’ headmaster as ‘amazing’.

Holly admitted: ‘If the kids couldn’t come then it would have been a completely different ball game and I would have had to have a long, hard think about it.’
