Kylie Jenner was too busy talking about Game of Thrones to brag about her unbelievable wealth at the Met Gala.
The 21-year-old claims Alex Rodriguez was lying when he claimed she spent the whole night talking about how much money she had.
Kylie shared a table with Jennifer Lopez and her fiance at the fashion event last month but they disagree about their small talk.
Calling BS, Kylie replied to a tweet on Tuesday night that said: ‘Kylie Jenner talked about “how rich she is” at the Met Gala, says Alex Rodriguez.’
But Kylie remembers it differently, writing: ‘Umm no i didn’t. We only spoke about Game of Thrones.’
The beauty business mogul – a self-made billionaire before she’s even 30 – then added a shrugging shoulders emoji and a facepalm, to emphasise her bemusement.
Keen to have the last word, Alex then backtracked, saying he (however unexpectedly) brought up the lip kits all by himself.
‘OMG that’s right @KylieJenner!!’ he tweeted to her reply. ‘It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you.’
And, despite how sarcastic his reply sounded, he added the hashtags ‘respect’ and ‘all love.’
It all started when Rodriguez talked to Sports Illustrated this week all about his glamorous red carpet outing, explaining how he spent it learning all about the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits.
‘We had a great table,’ he said in the new Where Are They Now issue, before poking fun at his A-list company.
‘[We had] the black guy from The Wire – Idris Elba, yeah, and his new wife. Some famous singer next to me, I don’t know what her name is. Versace Donatella.’
Plus of course, the Jenner sister, about whom he added: ‘We had Kylie and Kendall. And we had an Asian gentleman from Rich Asians, the lead.
‘Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is.’
Hopefully, A-Rod can see why that might not have gone down so well with the mum-of-one.
