Love Island star Amy Hart has been forced to hit back at cruel trolls after debuting a new look on social media earlier this week.
The reality TV star stunned fans as she flaunted a long silver wig and dramatic makeup for a photoshoot, ditching her blonde bob in favour of the dramatic new hairstyle.
However, the 26-year-old has revealed the new look came at a price, with some branding her “ugly” and a “catfish”.
Amy took to her Instagram story on Friday to reveal the backlash she faced after sharing the transformation snap.
Alongside the image she wrote: “Thanks for all your help in combatting these cowboys trying to use me to sell their backstreet treatments. I think if the last few days have taught us anything its that @makeupby_shab and @carlbembridgehair are bloody good at what they do.
“And to all the girls tagging their mates in my photos to have a public conversation about how ugly I was in the villa or the fact I’m a catfish etc… do us all a favour and do it in the privacy of your group chat. #beagoodperson.”
The stunning reality star took to Instagram to share a photo of her transformation earlier this week, which featured a long silver-haired wig and fluttery eyelashes.
Posing for the snap, the former air hostess looked almost unrecognisable as she ditched her blonde cropped hair style for the sleek new ‘do.
Wearing a golden low-cut dress with shoulder pads, Amy strikes a sultry pose in the photo, which she captioned: “Ice Ice Baby,” before tagging hairdresser Carl Bembridge.
Clearly shocked by her transformation, one fan wrote: “Didn’t even recognise you!”
A second added: “What! Is this you omg!” While a third wrote: “Oh my god you look unreal!”
The snap comes after Amy opened up on her love life after her savage split from fellow islander Curtis Pritchard in the villa this summer on Love Island.
Opening up on being single, Amy exclusively told OK! online: “Leaving the villa was the only option for me to actually move forward.
“I would never ever of been able to stay in that situation and I didn't watch it.
“The thing was I came out the villa and people were like: 'You're so strong you’re this you’re that’, but I was still really heartbroken because as much as it is a TV show, for me it was real.
“But yeah all done now, glad I did it, went in a girl came out a lady.”
But, the bubbly star has since moved on from her heartbreak and insisted she is “really happy” for Curtis, who recently made Irish beauty Maura Higgins his “official girlfriend”.
Former air stewardess Amy said: “Like I said when I l left, as long as everyone else is happy, I'm happy. I don't wish anyone any ill feeling, I'm really happy for them.”
And, it seems “lady” Amy has since moved on from her unrequited love and has been romantically linked to actor Dale Evans and radio DJ Toby Anstis.
Lifting the lid on her love life, Amy told us: “Had a couple of dates but I'm so busy, like, I got back from holiday Friday night. My next day off is the 30th October, and then I'm working another 10 days after that.
“Literally, you go on a date and they're like: 'When can I next see you?' and you're like: 'Three weeks time, that's my next day off’.”
Amy then joked: “I thought going on Love Island was gonna solve my dating issues, that I was gonna have time to date people, but I don’t!”
