Netflix star and pro wrestler Hana Kimura has died aged 22.
The star of reality show Terrace House was confirmed to have passed away by Stardom Wrestling.
A statement read: ‘We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away.”
‘Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends.”
‘We appreciate your support during this difficult time.’
Hana’s cause of death has not yet been revealed.
However, on Friday, the wrestler posted a picture of herself with her cat with the troubling caption: ‘Goodbye.’
According to Variety, Kimura also recently shared a number of concerning tweets, in which she said she ‘didn’t want to be a human anymore’.
She reportedly implied she had been cyber bullied, and wrote: ‘Thank you to everyone who supported me. I love it. I’m weak, I’m sorry.’
Kimura came from a family of pro wrestlers, with her mother Kyoko Kimura also a famous Japanese wrestler.
She made her debut with Wrestle-1 in 2016 and won her first title, the JWP Junior Championship, the same year.
In 2019, she left Wrestle-1 to join Stardom, where she became the leader of the Tokyo Cyber Squad faction.
During her time at Stardom, she won the Artist of Stardom championship twice, as well as a Goddess of Stardom championship.
