Strictly Come Dancing 2020 star Ranvir Singh took to social media today to give fans an update on her week two progress. The 43-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter is back in the rehearsal room learning the Quickstep with her partner Giovanni Pernice, after wowing viewers at home with her Paso Doble to End of Time by Beyonce on her debut.

On Saturday night’s live show, the TV star will perform the ballroom number to You Are The Sunshine Of My Life by Stevie Wonder.

However, at this stage in the week she is still perfecting the notoriously fast and complicated routine.

According to her latest Instagram offering, Quickstep training is certainly taking its toll on her body.

She posted a picture of her swollen and bloodied feet online, in view of her 39,300 followers.

“Blood on the dance floor! And a swollen foot… hello quickstep!! @bbcstrictly,” Ranvir captioned her painful-looking picture.

“This week two malarkey is really hard,” she admitted earlier in the week.

Yesterday, the GMB could be seen presenting the ITV show with her foot in a bowl of ice.

The ice bath offered her swollen feet some relief after hours of dancing in the training room.

GMB viewers and fans of the star were blown away by her confidence in the opening show.

“Fricking insane U are fire,”(sic) her co-star Maisie Smith wrote online, after seeing her dance for the first time.

Her dance partner Giovanni added: “You are an absolute dream!! Well done partner! So proud of you.”

“Just astonishing – dance of the night,” another Instagram follower remarked.
