Stacey Solomon delighted the Loose Women panellists and viewers when she returned to work on the show and brought four month old Rex along with her.
Mum-of-three Stacey and her youngest son Rex made the adorable appearance on Loose Women for Stacey’s first day back from maternity leave.
Speaking about why the 29 year old brought Rex along on the show, she said: “Lots of people asked me to bring him in and I thought, ‘Oh, I’d love to’.
“It’s so nice where you work somewhere and people allow you to bring your baby with you. It won’t be everyday don’t worry!”
The TV personality also admitted she was “really nervous” to return to the Loose Women panel. She said: “I never thought I’d sit in this chair and be nervous but, actually, when you have a bit of time off your tummy goes a bit, doesn’t it? When that music I thought, ‘Oh God, what do I do again?’.“
But, as the Loose Women chatted through the topics on the show, Stacey seemed to relax back into her role. It was all a bit much for little Rex as the adorable fourth month old ended up falling asleep midway through the Loose Women's discussion on the recent appearance of royal baby Archie, four months.
As Janet Street Porter, 72, chatted about the latest glimpse of Megan Markle and Prince Harry's son, attention turned from the royal baby to Stacey’s bundle of joy who had nodded off in her arms with a dummy in his mouth.
As the camera cut to a cute shot of Rex dozing off, lead panellist Andrea McLean, 49, joked: “Rex is enthralled by the conversation.”
To which the Loose ladies laughed and Janet replied: “Yeah, he’s got his dummy in, he’s had enough.”

During the show, Stacey also revealed the inspiration behind Rex’s name, which her sons Zachary, 77, and Leighton, seven, helped her choose.
Stacey said how her sons asked her to call her youngest T-Rex, after the dinosaur, but Stacey settled for Rex instead.
After the mum-of-three’s first day back, Stacey posted on her Instagram story to update fans on how she felt her first day went.
Posting a selfie in the outfit she wore on the show on her Instagram story, she wrote: “Yay a great first day day! Wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be.”
This comes after the former X Factor star opened up about her pre and postnatal battles with mental health to her 2.2million Instagram followers earlier this week.
Speaking in a candid video posted on her Instagram story, Stacey said: “11 years ago when I had Zachary I really really struggled with my mental health and how I felt afterwards. I think through all of my pregnancies I’ve definitely not felt the way that I thought I was going to feel.
“The advice and the support and the services that I’ve received has changed so much from Zachary to Leighton to Rex, it’s got so much better and I think that’s mostly down to charities, organisations and people raising awareness to post and prenatal depression.”
The star then revealed that the candle she had created with Seven Seventeen, where 100% of the profits go to charity PANDAS Foundation, sold out with 30 minutes of going on sale.
Thanking her fans for their support, she wrote: “I honestly can not believe it. You have no idea what this means to so many people. I’m having a cry on the toilet @sevenseventeenuk are replenishing stock as we speak so I’ll let you know as soon as they come in and you can buy them again.
“I love you all, the power of coming together to support each other and look out for mammas everywhere is incredible. I can’t thank you enough. Bring on the restock!”
