Strictly’s AJ Pritchard back in training after brutal night club attack

Strictly star AJ Pritchard is back in training again after being caught up in a brutal night club attack last month.

The dancer has confirmed he’s getting ready for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.

AJ 24, and his brother Curtis, 22, were set upon by eight thugs on a night out in Cheshire over Christmas.

Curtis, 22, was beaten unconscious after throwing himself into the scuffle to protect his brother.

The Strictly star has now revealed he’s getting back to normal in the aftermath of the horrifying attack.

He told the Manchester Evening News he even planning to compete in a triathlon with his Strictly co-star Lauren Steadman.

AJ says he told Lauren: "I’ll come out to you when you’re training in [Lanzarote]…

"I’ll come and run with you. I will do a triathlon for you."

AJ and Lauren will be back on the dancefloor together later this month as the Strictly live shows launch.

They kick off in Birmingham on January 18.

While AJ has bounced back after the attack, Curtis has been left fearing for his own dancer career after undergoing knee surgery .

He has also been forced to drop out of Ireland’s version of Dancing With The Stars due to the injuries
