Vicky Pattison relives moment she was arrested in her mum’s house

Vicky Pattison has spoken out about the nightclub arrest back in 2013 that would change her life.

The Geordie Shore star, who later went on to win I’m A Celebrity, was accused of lashing out at two women during a Geordie Shore night out at Florita’s bar in Newcastle, and was charged with two counts of assault.

She pleaded guilty, admitting to hitting two women with her stiletto after ice was poured over her and the cast, and was ordered to carry out 180 hours unpaid work and pay £4,000 compensation to student and part-time model Hannah Kelso, one of the women she hit.

Speaking about the night the police came to her mum’s house, the 31-year-old recalled: ‘I was so drunk and so unhappy I didn’t even recognise the magnitude of what I’d done.

‘I said, “I’m going home, I want to be on the sofa and to be with my Mam.” They [MTV] said that’s fine. I don’t even think they understood the severity of what had happened.

‘Mum and Dad were lying in bed and I was like…I’ve really f***ed it. I’ve really done something stupid. I’m coming home. I went downstairs to watch some telly and it completely snowballed from there.’

Describing it as one of the ‘lowest moments of her life’ to Fabulous’ new podcast Things I Told My Daughter with Lisa Snowdon, Vicky recalled needing to take some time away from Geordie Shore, and later quitting the show.

The star’s mum Caroll, who also spoke on the podcast, added that the police ‘searched the whole house’ and that she was in shock with the whole situation.

‘They were talking to her horrible, they were talking to us horrible. It was absolutely hideous. I’ve got so much respect for the police and I think they do a hell of a job, but I was in shock,’ she recalled.

Mentioning that the police even looked in her washing machine, Caroll revealed she broke down in tears after her daughter was taken away.

Vicky, who has recently been dealing with the split from her ex John Noble, then needed to take some time away from Geordie Shore, which she claims was met with the network telling her: ‘Take your time… we’ll just replace you.’

She later left the show at the end of 2014, after announcing that the ninth series would be her last.
