Woman fumes after man tells her she’d be the ‘perfect date’… if she lost half a stone

THERE are no shortage of disasters when it comes to dating, particularly when trying to find your match online.

And one woman claims she's become quite the pro when it comes to navigating dating apps, and the vile comments that often come with with them.

Katie, who calls herself the "CEO of dating app clapbacks", claimed one bloke took aim at her weight and insisted that she'd "be perfect if you lost like seven pounds".

He even tried justifying the rude remark by saying he was a "personal trainer" and that it was just "constructive criticism".

Katie detailed the conversation in a clip on TikTok, but she got her own with a very clever comeback.

She claims the man commented: "You would be perfect if you lost like seven pounds. You're very pretty."

To which she replied: "What?"

He continued: "Oh I'm sorry, I hope you don't take offence to that. I'm a personal trainer."

She replied: "Oh ok, phew! I was offended until I knew you had the credentials to body-shame me."

When he asked if "we're good," she said: "Of course, you were just giving constructive criticism."

"Exactly! Glad we're on the same page," he apparently replied.

But not letting him get away with his horrible comments, she decided to hit him where it hurts.

"You would be perfect if you were a different person," she claims to have said.

"Don't worry, I'm a therapist. I have the credentials to recognise poor character."

Although, this still didn't turn the bloke off and he continued to try to chat her up.

He even went on to give a lewd innuendo about how she could "make it up to him and also lose the extra weight", according to Katie.

The video has been liked almost two million times and some people couldn't believe the man's rude remarks.

In fact, many were appalled by his body-shaming behaviour with one calling him an "absolute tool."

"Sad how they want to start out by lowering your self-esteem because they know the girl is out of their league," one person said.

Another added: "He really thought saying he is a personal trainer we give free rein. The audacity."

"He STILL tried to shoot that shot. WHAT is wrong with dudes," slammed a third.

Others praised Katie for her quick-thinking come back and for brushing him off like it was nothing.

Her entire TikTok page is dedicating to dating app "clapbacks," so we get the feeling she's done this before.
