DIY fans who are planning to use the bank holiday weekend to carry out some home improvements should still be able to nab supplies at B&Q.
We explain all you need to know about its opening hours if you need to pop by the hardware store.
What time is B&Q open over the bank holiday weekend?
B&Q hasn't yet confirmed its opening hours this bank holiday weekend, but we expect its opening hours on Monday to be similar to the previous bank holiday on May 8.
At the time, the hardware retailer was open as usual on the bank holiday from 8am until 5pm although this varied depending on the store.
On Saturday, stores were typically open from 8am until 5pm and from 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
Opening hours vary between branches though, so you can check what your local branch is doing by using the locator tool here.
Will I have to social distance while in store?
B&Q has reopened all 288 of its stores nationwide although staff and customers will have to follow strict social distancing measures.
This includes two metre floor markers throughout shops and perspex screens at checkouts.
Customers may also have to queue to get into stores, with shops limiting the number of shoppers allowed in at one time.
Shoppers will only been able to buy products that are available to take away on the day and it has temporarily stopped services such as kitchen and bathroom design, paint mixing, timber cutting and key cutting.
It will also only accept card and contactless payments.
Can I order online?
Yes, B&Q still offers home delivery for its shoppers.
The retailer no longer delivers items into home though, and will instead place the items by your front door.
Standard next day delivery costs £5, or you'll get it for free if you spend more than £50.
