“Jenny from the Block” is all about that bling.
Jennifer Lopez, 49, stopped by “Today” on Monday morning — to kick off the show’s 2019 Citi Concert Series with a performance of her new single “Medicine — wearing a crystal-covered, metallic silver mini dress and matching fingerless gloves custom-designed for her by Bryan Hearns.
Hearns, a frequent collaborator with Cardi B on some of her sexiest looks, exclusively told Page Six Style that the outfit, which is worth $4,500, “took three people three full days to hand-crystallize. We used a total of 240,000 crystals.”
He added that, “Designing for J.Lo was a long time in the making! This was my first time designing with her team and they were such a dream to work with. They wanted a crystallized look but also happy to let me take full control of the design. We narrowed it down by going through multiple sketches to get to the final look.”
Clearly, the Grammy winner was feeling the head-to-toe glitzy look for the Met Gala later that day as well. She attended the event in a fully beaded, silver Versace gown covered in fringe detailing with a thigh-high split, plunging neckline and matching flapper-esque headpiece. The singer paired the glittering look with a mega-carat accessory — a 129-carat Harry Winston purple sapphire and diamond necklace.
