‘Monster’ stepmum blasted for wanting stepson to be edited out of family snap

A woman has been branded a "monster" for wanting to edit out her stepson in the family photo.

The anonymous stepmum asked for her partner's eldest son from a previous marriage to be removed from the photo.

Since she wanted one with "just her boys", the woman thought it would be reasonable to exclude her partner's child.

She had posted the request on Facebook and screenshots of her dilemma have since gone viral on Twitter.

In the original request, the stepmum had shared the photo on the group Photoshop Fairy Connection on Facebook.

The woman wrote: "Hello! Can anyone remove the centre kid? Willing to cashapp, Venmo or zelle $10.

"Photographer's permission included TY!"

She then shared the exchange she had with the photographer where she explained she'd wanted a snap with "just my boys".

Twitter user WadeCross shared the post, writing: "The lump in my throat after seeing this will never go away."

And his followers also seemed quite disappointed, with a number calling the mum "disgusting" and "shameful".

One replied: "How can people be so rotten?"

  • Mum logs every penny she's spent on daughter and demands repayment of £10,000

Another added: "It's disgusting that someone would do this."

A third wrote: "This is some cold blooded s***.

"I can't believe someone actually agreed to Photoshop the little dude out knowing the circumstances."

Meanwhile, one posted a screenshot of the woman's Facebook page, showing that she had the edited photo as her profile picture.

They said: "Not seeing many defenders of this monster, to be clear: this isn't just her wanting 1-2 shots with her bio kids in the album.

"She chose the edited version as her profile picture – the photo she uses to represent herself to the world.

"That's who she sees as her family."

So what do you think?
