Queen Letizia of Spain showcased her signature sartorial flair as she attended the opening of an exhibition at the national art museum in Madrid on Monday.

The Spanish royal, 46, looked sharp in a grey structured blazer dress as she arrived at the Museo del Prado with husband King Felipe, 50.

Felipe, with whom Letizia shares two daughters, coordinated with his wife, putting on a dapper display in a pinstripe grey suit as they posed for pictures at the event.

The Museo del Prado displays art dating back to the 12th century, and was founded in 1819. 

With collections based on the former Spanish Royal Collection, it is considered to have one of the world’s finest collections of European art.

Letizia has had a busy year of engagements, last week attending a glittering gala banquet at Madrid’s Royal Palace before joining Labour Minister Magdalena Valerio to mark the 40th anniversary of the National Employment Institute.

Queen Letizia is mother to Princesses Leonor, 12, and Sofia, 11, with husband King Felipe, 50, who ascended to the Spanish throne in 2014.

Letizia married King Felipe ten years ago at Cathedral Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid.

 King Felipe ascended the throne following the abdication of his father King Juan Carlos in 2014.
