A home that is believed to be the residence of famed director Quentin Tarantino was burglarized over the weekend.
The Los Angeles Police Department couldn’t confirm that Tarantino was the victim of the burglary, per policy, but said a home in the area of his residence was targeted early Sunday.
“Officers responded to the 7500 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive for a hot-prowl burglary radio call,” Tony Im, public information officer for the LAPD, told USA TODAY. “Officers conducted an investigation.”
The police term “hot prowl” refers to a burglary that takes place when residents are home.
TMZ reports the home belongs to Tarantino, who allegedly scared off two burglars after coming face-to-face with them. The outlet says the robbers made off with jewelry and other belongings.
USA TODAY has reached out to Tarantino’s rep for comment.
The incident comes less than a month after Tarantino tied the knot with singer/model Daniella Pick.
