Reality TV rich list 2020 reveals which stars are raking in millions, from Sam Faiers to Spencer Matthews

Reality stars are some of the biggest earners around, with many celebrities who’ve been born out of famous shows making a fortune following their appearance on the likes of TOWIE and Love Island.

From Instagram collaborations, to hidden talents, TV contracts, book deals, and fashion collaborations, a range of reality stars have made a fortune after leaving their respective reality shows.

And The Sun has analysed who the richest reality stars are, to build a list of 25 stars, which only looks at British celebrities who have found fame as a result of taking part in reality TV shows.

To qualify, those included in the list had to have made money in the past decade off the back of a reality show.

So, let’s take a look at who has made the cut…

Little Mix – £50 million

In top spot is hugely successful girl band Little Mix, made up of Jesy Nelson, 29, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 28, Jade Thirlwall, 27, and Perrie Edwards, 27.

After winning The X Factor in 2011, the girls are individually worth an estimated £12.5 million.

The ladies added a whopping £5 million to their wealth in the past year alone.

Spencer Matthews – £21 million

Sitting in second place is dad-of-two Spencer Matthews, of Made In Chelsea fame.

In the past year, the star has made a whopping £10 million as a result of his property investments and role as CEO and founder of The Clean Liquor Co.

Sales of Spencer’s non-alcoholic brand rocketed 700 per cent in lockdown alone.

Mark Wright – £11 million

In third place sits Mark Wright, of The Only Way Is Essex fame.

The star boosted his earnings this year after converting his Essex mansion into six two-bed flats, worth £5 million.

Mark and wife Michelle Keegan are set to launch fashion label Mysa Active soon.

The Essex native earns a huge £10,000 per DJ gig, it has been reported and raked in money by interviewing A-Listers in the USA, including Kim Kardashian, on US show Extra.

Samantha Faiers – £9.8 million

Another TOWIE star making the top five is Samantha Faiers, who made a whopping £500,000 to become the face of Oreo cookies.

The mum-of-two also runs fashion outlet Saint Avenue with partner Paul Knightley, 32, which, in 2019, made £182,000.

Sam and her sister Billie also made huge sums of money, rumoured to be around £250,000 each, to star in their hit ITVBE series The Mummy Diaries.

Ollie Locke – £7 million

Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke has made a large fortune as a result of property assets.

The star, who made his MIC debut in 2011, also gained whopping sums of money for appearances on Celebrity Big Brother (£100,000) and Celebs Go Dating (£200,000).

Ollie also founded gay dating app Chappy in 2017 and can reportedly command up to £2,000 per sponsored Instagram post.
