Miss Universe presenter Steve Harvey has suffered another awkward on-screen blunder, four years after he announced the wrong winner of Miss Universe 2015.
In a clip that has gone viral on social media, Harvey got into another mix-up at Miss Universe 2019, which was televised last night.
Introducing the glamorous model decked out in an extravagant costume, the presenter says: “Just have a look at the winner, Philippines.
“This is it right here, I thought I had on something fly, but girl you just.. woo!”
Describing the detail in her dress, he added: “Cake, and oranges, and potato chips, this is a lot.“

“Excuse me,” the model interjects before taking the microphone, “It’s not the Philippines, it’s Malaysia.”
Harvey manages to keep his composure but begins to rant about his on-screen prompts.
“Okay, let me explain to you," he says.
“I just read that off the teleprompt y’all got to quit doing this to me.
“I can see it now, they are trying to fix it now."

Referring back to the now-infamous gaffe, he adds: “See this is what they did to me back in 2015 playing me short like that.”
Swiftly moving on while the model giggles, the presenter says: “This is Malaysia. I really love this national costume of Malaysia.”
He then mutters: “This is crazy…”
In the immediate fallout of the 2015 gaffe, a humiliated Miss Columbia in second-place had to have her crown removed and handed over to Miss Philippines.
