That was too hot with the six-furlong distance not up his street either.
He goes back to his favourite trip here and the big drop in class is also in his favour. The last time he raced off this mark he scored at Musselburgh.
POINT IN TIME (8.05 Kempton)
David Probert got a decent tune out of him here last time when he was unlucky to finish only fifth.
He was just getting going when the door was slammed in his face which is fatal for a stayer like him.
The handicapper has nudged him 2lb down the weights which can only help his chances.
Longshot
ADIMELO (12.55 Exeter)
There were some positive signs from this ten-year-old when he finished a decent third over course and distance last time.
This is a drop in class into a conditional jockeys’ contest and he gets on well with regular rider Isabel Williams who stays on board.
He runs off the same mark that saw him score at Sligo on his final Irish start before heading to Mary Evans’ yard and he should hit the frame.
Aside from these, SunSport resident tipster Templegate has picked a horse in each race today.

Consistent course and distance winner who looks well weighted.

Went close at Exeter last time and looks ready to win.

Looked a future winner when third on debut at Exeter latest.
