Now they have been given until January 29 to finalise their cases.

Mayhem erupted when Nurmagomedov jumped over the cage to confront the Irishman’s team-mate Dillon Danis in the front row.
Then McGregor struck a member of the Russian’s team before another of victor’s gym-mates struck the former champion.
Both fighters were hit with fines and suspended indefinitely.

Now it looks like they will be facing lengthy bans once the Nevada State Athletic Commission eventually considers their cases.
Nurmagomedov still has not received half of his £1.6m purse after UFC originally withheld the entire sum after the shocking scenes.
He was paid 50 per cent of it after a hearing in October.
The Russian has since been linked with a mega-money switch into the boxing world to fight Floyd Mayweather.
McGregor is rumoured to be preparing for a rematch against Dustin Poirer.
