OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER will have high hopes for Mason Greenwood tonight.
Speaking about the 17-year-old, the Old Trafford boss said: “Mason's one of the best finishers I've seen and I've played with a few decent ones.
“He's still very young, Mason, but he's maturing, he's developed so much in the last six months since I came in.
“I remember the kid who just wanted to play with his mates in the Under-18s and he's knocking on the door and ready to play these games.
“He's been with the Under-21s with England, he's tasting it more, his appetite for football must be growing, I just don't want to put too much pressure on him.”
HERE'S how Solskjaer's men will start…
MANCHESTER UNITED will kick-off their Europa League campaign against Astana at Old Trafford tonight.
The Kazakh champions will be hoping to cause an upset, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are the firm favourites.
United got back to winning ways at the weekend with a 1-0 victory over Leicester City.
But the Red Devils have still only managed to pick up eight points from their first five Premier League games.
Solskjaer will be without Daniel James, Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial for the match.
He has confirmed that at least two of the up-and-coming youngsters will feature against Astana.
Mason Greenwood will be named in the line-up after featuring four times off the bench in the league this season.
Axel Tuanzebe will also be given his chance to impress the boss before they return to Prem action to face West Ham next Sunday.
He featured in five of the club's six pre-season friendlies during the summer after spending 18 months out on loan with Aston Villa.
Romero will start between the sticks despite making just six appearances in all competitions last season.
David De Gea – who recently penned a new deal with the club – will remain on the bench.
Fred could also be called up to the first-team after Solskjaer vowed to give him more time on the pitch following his shaky start to the season.
The match is set to kick-off at 8pm.
Stay tuned for of all of the build-up, team news and live updates of the game as it happens.
