Yorkshire wrapped up an emphatic innings and 44-run victory over Hampshire in the County Championship at the Ageas Bowl.
Seamer Ben Coad trapped Rilee Rossouw lbw, and then had Gareth Berg caught at first slip and struck Ian Holland on his pads off consecutive balls as the hosts lost 3-5 to slip to 59-8.
However, Liam Dawson battled hard, scoring his second half-century of the match and sharing a vital 131-run ninth-wicket partnership with Keith Barker (64) – before the latter was eventually caught behind off Steven Patterson.

Duanne Olivier secured Yorkshire’s first win in Division One of the season as Dawson fell an agonising eight runs short of a century when he picked out Tom Kohler-Cadmore at midwicket.
In Division Two, Sussex clinched a six-wicket victory over Durham with Stiaan van Zyl and Laurie Evans making light work of chasing down the 68 runs they required. SCORECARD
South African Van Zyl hit an unbeaten century, finishing on 101 not out, and Evans made 51, as the third-wicket pair shared a 112-run partnership.
Evans fell to the penultimate ball of the match, but the visitors eased home inside 20 overs on the final day at Emirates Riverside.
Worcestershire trumped Leicestershire at Grace Road as Charlie Morris’ 7-45 led his side to an innings and 18-run win. SCORECARD
Pace bowler Josh Tongue bowled Chris Wright for five, before Morris completed his five-wicket haul by castling Harry Dearden and having Lewis Hill caught behind for ducks.
