Host Ant McPartlin, who missed the live shows last year after his arrest for drink driving, will be back alongside Declan Donnelly.
When asked how it felt to have the gang back together, Amanda said: ‘The live shows were not the same without him.
‘We are the best team, we get on so well, we can take the mickey out of each other, we support each other and there’s a natural chemistry between us all that you can’t make happen with other panels.’
Meanwhile Dec has described Team BGT as a ‘dysfunctional family’, with Ant admitting that they are the ones who have to keep the judges in line.
Ant joked: ‘We are constantly having to wrangle them. We’ve got to get them all onstage on time, which never happens. Or we turn around and one of the girls is back in her robe again.
‘We actually gave them scooters this year in an attempt to get them to the stage a bit quicker. They are a bunch of kids so it actually worked!’
Britain’s Got Talent returns 6 April at 7.15pm on ITV.
