CHRIS Hughes, 26, shot to the fame on Love Island in 2017 and has landed his own ITV2 spin-off show.
Here, he opens up to Fabulous Magazine about how often he has sex, dating Jesy Nelson and his worst qualities.
What scares you?
Snakes and spiders.
Which word do you overuse?
Bruv. Even if my mum’s annoying me, I’ll be like: “F**king hell, bruv!”
What’s your worst habit?
Not clearing up after myself. Jess tells me off about that.
Who or what is the love of your life?
My girlfriend and Annie Mc, my racehorse.
Who would you invite to a dinner party?
Roger Federer, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jim Carrey.
How often do you have sex?
If I can, every day. It’s good for you!
What is your experience of grief?
When all my grandparents died we handled it as a family, celebrating their lives.
What makes you angry?
My football team Sunderland. I travel to support them and they rarely win.
Leave or remain?
Remain, to keep everyone happy.
What is your earliest memory?
Wearing a Noddy outfit when I was two or three. I looked bloody gorgeous!
Which public figure do you most admire?
My girlfriend. She didn’t have the easiest childhood, and winning The X Factor changed her life, but she’s so down to earth.
Who was your first kiss?
I used to go around school kissing everyone – I can’t remember the first!
What does being in love feel like?
Magical, light-hearted, like a movie.
What is your biggest regret?
I literally don’t have regrets.
What song would you play at your funeral?
Blink 182 Stay Together For The Kids.
What would your epitaph be?
“Chris Hughes: 1992 to 2092. An exceptional chap, he lit up everyone’s day.”
Do you have a pub trick?
Flipping beer mats. I did 62 once and won The Cotswolds Pub Olympics.
What’s the most pain you’ve experienced?
My third operation on my left testicle [Chris had varicoceles] was f**king brutal.
Who would you like to apologise to?
My mum. I’m a nightmare sometimes.
What’s been your greatest achievement?
Working for ITV Racing. And the testicular cancer awareness slot on This Morning, which led to my brother checking himself, being diagnosed and getting treatment.
What is top of your bucket list?
I’d like to go to Alaska, because the scenery looks beautiful.
What do you think happens when we die?
We come back as something else. I think I’m going to be a kangaroo.
What do you never leave the house without?
My Love Island wash bag.
Best and worst qualities?
I’m understanding, but I sometimes don’t pay attention when people are talking to me.
Celebrity you’d love to snog?
Jesy! I don’t think I’m going to kiss anyone else again. I’m only 26, so that’s a very bold statement.
