A defining moment in British television history, Gladiators hit the small screen in 1992.
The Gladiators, which included the likes of Wolf, Hunter, Jet and Lighting among others, became household names as they pushed their physical endurance to the test in various challenges against contestants.
The premise was simple: the competition saw contestants battle against the notorious Gladiators in a number of events to secure points for the grand final, The Eliminator.
Without their lycra and super-sized 90s hair, the TV legends gathered for a surprise group photo and fans went wild.
James Crossley, who played Hunter on the show, uploaded a snap to his Instagram where he cosied up to his former co-stars.
Kim “Lightening” Betts didn’t look any different to her fitness heyday while Diane Youdale, AKA Jet, still rocked her trademark brunette locks.
Michael van Wijk, better know as Wolf, looked poles apart from his Gladiator glory years.
During his time on the show, the bodybuilder fashioned long, flowing locks, however today his bald-headed look stunned fans.
And presenter of the show Ulrika Jonsson also made an appearance, much to the delight of her fellow cast mates.
Hunter uploaded the post to his 26,900 followers and wrote: “Great seeing Wolf back on TV this week. Looking incredible and showing how fitness as a lifestyle really pays off. Tried to have a picture with him but a few of his super fans decided to photo bomb us.”
One overjoyed fan put: “Such a great picture. So much nostalgia.”
“Legends by name, legends by nature!” a second exclaimed.
And a third put: “Now that’s a cool photo.”
