Holly Willoughby, 39, was joined by Phillip Schofield, 58, to host their last show of the week and they had a full packed programme for viewers to watch. The This Morning stars spoke with Nik, 58, and Eva Speakman, 51, to ask them what phobias they were going to try and help callers with on Thursday’s instalment of the ITV show. However, it seems the presenters misheard a particular word and when the camera returned to them, the pair were left in tears as they couldn’t control their hysteria.
The pair were laughing so much, it was quite hard for viewers to determine what the presenters were saying to one another.
Knowing they needed to stick to the schedule and get on with the show, the hosts tried to compose themselves.
“Pull yourself together,” Holly could be heard telling herself as she wiped away the tears, with Phillip having to remind her they were “on the telly.”
Eventually, they did manage to regain their composure and delved into the day’s headlines with a panel of guests.
Taking to Twitter, those watching at home seemed to be quite confused as one viewer wrote: “I don’t understand what’s funny, you two. Seriously, I don’t #ThisMorning.”
Another added: “Off they go with laughter again #ThisMorning,” with a third posting: “WTF is so damn funny?! #ThisMorning.”
