Noel Edmonds says he will continue with his TV Comeback after I’m A Celebrity – and is set to front a new show alongside new pal Harry Redknapp.
The 69, was the shock eviction on Friday night from the jungle and had been expected to challenge Harry for the title of King of the Jungle.
Noel even said he would retire from TV if he won I’m A Celebrity.
But now he hopes to team up with Harry for a new TV project, expected to be on ITV after he received a number of work offers since leaving camp.
Noel said: "I think it is OK to say there have been a couple of ideas put forward for a Noel and Harry show. But my boy is still in there so we will have to wait for him to come out.
"We did have a laugh and I think judging by what I have heard it went down well with the viewers."
I’m sorry, you knew the deal. The public broke the deal. The threat(of a comeback) is there. There are offers coming in, but it is early days.”
Noel also told how Harry Redknapp claimed he had not laughed properly for years of being a football manager and became a “miserable b*stard” because he got too stressed.
I’m A Celebrity 2018
Noel added: “Harry said a wondeful thing, he said ‘I didnt laugh when I was a full-time football manager’, he said the stress and the strain and how quickly you are exposed to people hating you impacted on him and he couldn’t sleep.
Then he said ‘I became a miserable b*stard. I have not laughed this much until I met you’.
“We had such a laugh it was great. I think sometimes the others were a bit nonplussed why we were laughing.
“We were plotting if the two of use got to the end we would split it and establish a kingdom that would follow the Empire we started. So we would go from Imperial power to a kingdom. But hey, I got thrown out y’know.”
I’m A Celebrity airs tonight on ITV at 9pm
