Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, he revealed his biggest fears: "Snakes, spiders, scorpions, emotional isolation, all of those things. Heights, water, camping outdoors. All the above."
"I just think it's a huge adventure. I got asked to do it, I thought ok, let's go for it. I spoke to my family, and my closest friends and they laughed for five to ten minutes each. There was a lot of sustained laughter in my face, so I thought 'it's on'.
"The thing about show business is you never know what's around the corner. You just got to go for it," he added.

Firm friends with fellow comedian and co-host of the show's spin off show Extra Camp Joel Dermott, Andrew admitted his time on the show will be easier than performing stand-up routines in front of audiences.
"Myself and Joel, and other stand up comedians, we spend our entire life driving around in cars with other lunatics. Other stand up comedians. There is no other profession on earth, no other walk of life has as many maniacs as the world of comedy. There's no way anybody in there is going to be a random mixed bag as four comedians in car on the way to Carlisle.
"It's our not only willingness but active desire to stand up in front of a random selection of people in Carlisle. We'll go anywhere for a gig. That's it.

"Eating pig's f***y over a campfire with a celebrity chef isn't going to be the same game. It's going to be easier."
And taking the positives from his I'm a Celeb appearance, Andrew confessed he's going to weave in his camp stories into his new stand-up sets.
"That's the thing with comedians, we're always up for an adventure to see what material we can get out of it. The taste of a dead dingo's donger, I'll be the only one of my family that has eaten a dead animal's ding dong."
