Little People's Tori Roloff admits there were 'struggles' breastfeeding daughter Lilah but will still 'miss' doing it

LITTLE People's Tori Roloff became emotional as she came to the end of her breastfeeding journey with daughter Lilah.

The outspoken Little People star, 29, told her fans the 9-month-old had become a lot more interested in food in the recent weeks.

Tori regularly keeps her followers in the loop about parenting her two children, including the highs and lows.

She took to Instagram to reveal Lilalh has become less interested in "the boob".

Alongside an adorable photo of Lilah in her crib, Tori captioned the post: "My sweet Lilah bean. 💗"

"Tonight was the first night I put Lilah to bed without nursing her. My breastfeeding journey with this girl has been easy.

"She came out of the womb knowing what to do and it made my job easy.

"There were struggles for sure but I know how blessed I am to be able to go on this journey with her. But tonight I think this chapter closed."

Then she revealed Lilah was more keen on eating solid food.

She explained: "The last couple of weeks she’s just more interested in food.

"She’s lost interest in “the boob” and is literally growing up before my eyes.

"I’m lucky because weaning with both my kids has been so natural. I literally laid Lilah girl down and haven’t heard from her since.

Tori added "I will miss this time with my girl but it’s always exciting to move to the next stage!!

"Breastfeeding is different for everyone. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes it doesn’t. I know I have been given a gift to be able to feed my babies without assistance and I don’t take it for granted.

"I hope all those mamas out there struggling know you’re not alone (fed is best). And to all those mamas that are currently breastfeeding: keep it up!!"

Tori finished the post by saying reflecting on her journey with Lilah was emotional.

"I'm getting all emotional writing this just looking back on the last 9 1/2 months and it always hits you like a ton of bricks how fast time flies. Love you, sweet girl," the mom-of-two wrote.

"If y’all have questions about BFing drop it down below. I’m not expert but have had two different experiences."

The mom-of-two recently shared she and her husband Zach feeding Lilah “anything cut up small,” which includes “lots of cheese, chicken, broccoli, yogurt melts, puffs [and] cereal."

Tori went on Lilah is still getting the hang of learning to eat admitting: "She does sometimes gag, but it’s all part of learning to eat.

“I try not to let it scare me. I feed her small enough pieces that nothing can really get caught and choke her. Always watch closely while kids are learning to eat!”

The TV star recently wrote of becoming a mom to another child who is a little person.

She wrote: "I pray I’m the mother you deserve Lilah. I love you so much it hurts sometimes. I want to be the best role model for you.

“I want to live my life as best I can just to show you how good life can be and is. As long as you keep smiling Lilah Girl- that’s enough for me.

“You’re going to do wondrous things my little minnow. I can see it already”

Tori – who also has a son Jackson, three, with husband Zach – was in tears when she discovered her unborn daughter was going to be a little person.
