Love Island finalists earn whopping £296,400 from Instagram every month

Love Island 's brand-new winter season is right around the corner, and the competition is hotter than ever.

Though each contestant is looking for love in the South African villa, each champion can look forward to a hefty bonus.

According to Think Money, past contestants are raking in a whopping six-figure sum each month after nabbing the Love Island crown.

Their studies show that the leading ladies from last year's final earn an average of £296,400 every month from Instagram.

From sponsored posts alone, social media influencers like Molly Mae Hague and Maura Higgins can charge figures in the high thousands after leaving the show.

According to their research, Molly Mae earned £399,000 from Insta posts, while Maura racked up an impressive £296,400.

Series champ Amber Gill reportedly nabbed £297,920, while India Reynolds is said to have earned £192,280.

In comparison, the average 18 to 24-year-old earns around £1,600 every month.
