Love Island’s Amber Gill says method she used to dodge ‘performing’ in Hideaway

Love Island's Amber Gill was desperate to avoid The Hideaway during her time in the villa last year.

As the winner watched on this series, she voiced her fears about The Hideaway and explained she was terrified about "performing for the public" in the bedroom.

The 22-year-old, who won Love Island with ex flame Greg O'Shea, said she cried to ensure she was able to stay in the main bedroom.

Wednesday's night episode brought back the daunting memories for the Love Island champ.

Amber and the rest of the UK watched Mike Boateng lick whipped cream off Priscilla Anyabu's leg during a romantic night in the private room.

After watching Mike and Priscilla get very intimate during their time away from other islanders, Amber took to Twitter to share her thoughts.

She penned: "I remember I got nominated to go in the hideaway once and I start bubbling so they choose someone else."

Her tweet saw a fan ask: "Why did you cry?"

To which she responded: "Eeewww scaryyyyy. I just want to sleep in peace I don't want to perform for the public to watch in underwear with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

"That's for my mans only and to be fair I never had one in there."

  • Love Island fans 'cringe' as 'slimy' Mike licks cream off Priscilla and dry humps bed

Love Island fans found Mike's seduction technique cringeworthy during his Hideaway scene.

The former police officer did not hold back as he and Priscilla had the chance to get steamy in the Hideaway.

Giving it his all to try and turn on the beauty he squirted cream on her thigh and licked it up and viewers could not believe their eyes.

And it was not the only move he pulled out the bag as he then went on to dry hump the bed leaving viewers mortified.

In the Hideaway, Mike told Priscilla: “Everything I’ve said, I’ve meant, I feel like you’re someone I want to hold on to.”
