Love Island’s Montana Brown ‘feels sorry’ for Islanders after being ‘tricked’

Former Love Island star Montana Brown has confessed she "feels sorry" for the Islanders after Monday night's challenge.

The villa's residents were given various newspaper headlines and had to guess who they were referring to.

This created a lot of drama as Molly-Mae Hague was accused of being 'fake', while Curtis Pritchard found out he was 'not manly'.

Speaking on today's This Morning, Montana admitted she has sympathy for the contestants, having gone through the experience herself during series 3.

She revealed that one of the biggest fears in the villa is whether you are doing your family proud, so the challenge can be daunting.

Montana said: "I feel really sorry for al of the contestants because I feel like that's the hardest challenge.

"It's the first glimpse you get of what the public actually think of you. You think 'oh my gosh that's what they really think'. Really it's only a couple of people in the nation who think those headlines."

"It is the worst thing. I think constantly when you’re in there, they’ve been in there eight weeks now, you’re thinking 'I'm wondering if I’m coming across well, I hope my family proud of me'.

"You just get a bit worried if you’re doing your family proud so I really sympathise with them."

Montana felt particularly bad for Anton Danyluk, who discovered that his best friend is not a fan of his partner Belle Hassan.

One person that Montana has no sympathy for is Jordan Hames, who revealed his head had been turned in a preview for tonight's show.

She said: "Honestly, as soon a I saw that clip I put my head in my hands. Jordan do you want to walk away with the £50k prize or not. It's a week before the final. It's not going to do him any favours."

Montana thinks Jordan has blown any chance of winning the show by revealing his interest in India Reynolds just days after making Anna his girlfriend.

"He’s up against Ovie, who is the nation's sweetheart at the moment. He’s got no chance at all and if anything he's shot himself in the foot.

"He had something really good with Anna. He’s not going to get the money or the girl either."
