Rainie murdered after taking drastic action in EastEnders?

Rainie Branning (Tanya Franks) caused quite the stir in EastEnders when she absconded with baby Abi. Max (Jake Wood), Jack (Scott Maslen) and Ian (Adam Woodyatt) are more determined than ever to track her down — but this proves to be the least of her problems, as she’s set to find herself in extreme danger.

Desperate to get in touch with Rainie, Max makes yet another attempt to call her. She answers the call, but hangs up once more — which leaves the Walford East owner more frustrated than ever. He certain that he’s lost Abi for good, but Jack — ever the detective — comes to the rescue as, upon further analysis of the photo Rainie had sent them, he spots the hotel logo in the image’s background — and realises that he knows where she is.

Meanwhile, Rainie is enjoying living it up at the hotel, and soon hits it off with hotel guest Michael. After a conversation, the man invites her for a drink, but she gently lets him down, as it’s time for her to move on. However, as she heads to the check-out desk, she spots Jack and Max making their way through the hotel doors, so she rushes back upstairs.

The Branning brothers arrive at what they believe to be Rainie’s room, but they’re shocked when Michael answers the door — and denies having any knowledge of a woman named Rainie. Afterwards, Rainie thanks Michael for covering for her.

However, as she attempts to depart once more, she realises that all her money has been taken. The big question is: who is responsible? Could Max and Jack have hatched a plan of their own to leave Rainie in need of cash in the hopes that she’ll return home, or is it the charming Michael that’s stolen from her?

Either way, Rainie is adamant that returning to Walford is not an option and, as a result, she texts Stuart (Ricky Champ) for assistance.

Desperate and homeless, she resorts to drastic measures to make some cash, but Stuart arrives just in the nick of time. However, the danger is far from over, as she comes up with yet another incredibly dangerous money-making scheme — and Stuart has no choice but to go along with it.

How much danger will Rainie find herself in?
