Jade Rowan (Lottie Henshall) is used to manipulating the situation to her own favour in Coronation Street, but it appears as if she’s not to keen on someone else doing so at the expense of her, as — in the coming episodes — Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) does just that, and thus Jade is left seething.
With Jade being allowed visits with Hope, Fiz and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) have no choice but to comply.
However, Fiz is less than pleased about it — and in the coming episodes — she confides in Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) that Jade is hoping to take Hope to the crafts workshop in the community centre, but that she has no interest in taking Ruby.
As a result, Fiz decides to take Ruby herself, and thus she and Tyrone show up at the event. However, Hope makes it clear that she prefers Jade’s company to Fiz’s, and Fiz is naturally hurt as a result.
Later in the week, Christine shows up in the hopes of arranging another visit with Jade, but — fed up of the arrangement — Fiz decides to lie and thus makes out they’re all setting off on holiday.
Later, Fiz and Tyrone set off with Ruby and Hope for a holiday — and Jade’s far from pleased.
One to watch: Wednesday 22 January at 8:30pm on ITV.
