Strictly Jayde Adams chokes up after receiving standing ovation from audience

Strictly Come Dancing star Jayde Adams struggled to find the words after receiving a standing ovation from the audience.

The annual BBC One show returned back with a bang, with the likes of Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh, singer Fleur East and presenter Richie Anderson battling it out on the dance floor.

The 37-year-old comedian was the third celebrity who performed on Saturday night’s epic opener alongside partner Karen Hauer.

And the duo brought the house down after they danced a saucy samba to Christina Aguilera’s Dirty.

After their routine came to an end, Jayde was stunned to see the audience and judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse on their feet.

While presenter Tess Daly asked her how she felt, Jayde couldn’t find the words to describe how she felt, but her emotional reaction said it all.
