Two men were shot and killed just hours apart in separate incidents in Queens early Saturday, police said.
A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest at about 2 a.m. by a man in a blue hooded sweatshirt after the victim began brawling with a group of people at the intersection of National Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Corona.
The shooter then fled the scene, police said. The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Just four hours later, on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard near 108th Ave in Jamaica, cops found a 48-year-old male dead in the passenger seat of a black Nissan Maxima, authorities said. He had been shot in the arm and torso.
The victim was pronounced dead at about 6:00 a.m. at Jamaica Hospital.
No arrests have been made, and the investigations are ongoing.
