Amir Khan puts on a romantic display as he buys wife Faryal Makhdoom a brand new £130,000 Mercedes covered in ribbons and balloons – as ex-BBC presenter claims the ex-boxer ‘repeatedly made sexual advances towards her’
- Amir Khan’s marriage is reportedly on the rocks over allegations of sexting
Amir Khan has bought wife Faryal Makhdoom a brand new Mercedes G-Class wrapped in red ribbon in another hint towards a reunion in the wake of reports they had separated over a sexting scandal.
The boxer posted a highly-edited video on Instagram which featured Khan presenting his wife with a large bouquet of red roses before he and his wife drove off in the car, which has red balloons hung from the new vehicle’s windows.
Along with the video, which features slow motion shots of Faryal stepping into the car and grabbing the steering wheel, Khan wrote: ‘Little gift for @faryalmakhdoom. I know how much she loves G wagons so I wanted to surprise her. Hope you like it.’
The boxer also gave his thanks to Exotic Cars Dubai who he said were responsible for sourcing the car.
The latest hint at a reunion, which follows Khan sharing snippets of a cinema trip with Faryal, comes after an ex-BBC presenter accused the boxer of making sexual advances towards her after they appeared at an event together.

Suzi Mann, who has presented BBC Asian Network’s Official Asian Music Chart Show, claims she was sent messages by Khan after they first met in 2016 when she hosted a concert in Manchester.
She said that following their encounter, Khan repeatedly messaged her on WhatsApp ‘flirting’ with her and ‘making sexual advances’, which later escalated when he began calling and leaving her voicemails.
The single mother said she did not feel ‘comfortable’ with his messages and she ‘remained professional’ by choosing not to ‘entertain’ his behaviour.
Amir Khan’s representatives told MailOnline there was ‘no truth’ to Ms Mann’s allegations.
Suzi Mann posted the allegations of Mr Khan’s behaviour to her almost 19,000 followers on Instagram earlier this week.
She said: ‘I first met Amir Khan in 2016 whilst I was hosting Arijit Singh in Manchester!
‘A couple of days after the concert, I started receiving WhatsApp messages from an unknown number, with someone claiming to be Amir Khan!
‘I immediately had to ask, actor or boxer? Unfortunately it was the latter!
‘On a more serious note, these messages continued and then I started to receive calls and voicemails from Amir Khan himself.
‘Now I’ve been in this industry too long to not know when someone is flirting and making sexual advances.
‘This was not something I felt comfortable with and I chose to not entertain it, but remained professional.
MailOnline has contacted Suzi Mann for comment.

In the video posted to Instagram on Friday, Faryal did not look at the camera and appeared stony-faced as she sat in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Last week, MailOnline revealed that Amir and Faryal, 31, have separated and are said to be splitting their time between their homes in Dubai and Britain while Faryal decides whether she wants to end their 10-year marriage.
A source close to the Khan family told MailOnline: ‘Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away. She’s going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent.’
But on Snapchat yesterday, the boxer posted a clip in which he revealed he was at a private cinema with his estranged wife and a camera crew, saying: ‘We’ve just come into the cinema. It’s a nice little private one this.
‘Everything else is good just came with Faryal and the crew here to the cinema. We’re just chilling doing our thing.’
Amir, whose marriage has been dogged by a number of cheating claims, allegedly contacted a model named Sumaira, 25, on May 6, three days after he was shown being evicted from the pre-recorded I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.
After he commented on her tattoos on one of Sumaira’s Instagram Stories, she is said to have replied: ‘I don’t know if you’re joking.’
Father of three Amir responded: ‘Lol I’m serious. They sick. (As) in good.’
She later sent him a picture of herself fully clothed but displaying roses on her midriff, to which he allegedly told her: ‘Can’t stop looking.’

Khan, whose marriage has been dogged by a number of cheating claims, allegedly contacted a model named Sumaira (pictured), 25, on May 6
Seemingly suggesting she send some more, he insisted it was a ‘tattoo chat’, reportedly adding: ‘It’s nothing I ain’t seen b4 . . . somebody’s body.’
Sumaira then claims they spoke on the phone, during which he attempted to explain why he had contacted her, saying that ‘he and Faryal were not properly together and that it was a bit of a business arrangement’.
She claims he spun a ‘sob story’, saying that he was retired from boxing and Faryal spent a lot of time in London.
The pair then stopped messaging and he claimed he was travelling back to London on May 8.
Khan has admitted he ‘regretted’ messaging Sumaira revealing he’d contacted her out of ‘boredom’ and telling The Sun that he’d go through therapy to stop him sexting other women.
Earlier this week, a new woman also claimed she had an affair with the boxer over four months – which only ended when Faryal threatened to ‘name and shame’ her.
The unnamed woman has revealed that the champion fighter admitted his marriage was ‘on the rocks’ and said that she slept with him this year after he demanded ‘no holds barred’ sex.
The woman reportedly said she met with Amir on several occasions, but that their fling ended when she received a call from his furious wife.
The couple have gone through a tumultuous time recently after Faryal posted a lengthy statement in response to her husband’s text exchanges with model Sumaira.
Stating that she ‘refuses to play out my marriage publicly,’ Faryal wrote on Instagram that ‘after a long week of accusations, slander and harassment I have decided it is now time to address the situation that has unfolded.’
Faryal described Sumaira’s actions as a ‘hate campaign’ and has denied that she is ‘responsible for Sumaria’s current mental state.’
Implying that she is standing by Amir, Faryal went on to state that ‘the whole world is aware of his track record’ and insists that Sumaira must have been aware he was married when she sent him revealing photos.
