Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has sparked concern amongst her followers after sharing a cryptic and emotional post on Instagram.
The Strictly head make-up artist took to the social media site to share a motivational quote which read: “Babe, may the tears you cried in 2022 water the seeds you're planting in 2023."
The 46 year old captioned the post with a series of praying and red love heart emojis.
And the star’s 150,000 followers were quick to offer their support in the comments, with one writing: “Sending hugs”.
A second added: “You are an incredibly strong woman – I truly admire you xxx”.
A third wrote “I hope you grab 2023 with both hands and have the best time”.
Lisa’s Strictly colleagues also shared messages of support, with finalist Fleur East writing commenting: “Love this,” alongside a red love heart emoji.
Winning professional Jowita Przystał and fellow pro Nancy Xu also commented with love hearts, while former Strictly star and Loose Women panellist Chizzy Akudolu wrote: "Oh, Amen to that. Have a beautiful one, Lisa”.
August this year saw I’m A Celebrity co-host Ant and his Anne-Marie Corbett celebrate their first wedding anniversary together, but Lisa has also been loved-up with her boyfriend James Green.
That same month Lisa and James jetted off to a sunny location to enjoy a family holiday together.
Captioning her collection of photos from the getaway, where they were also joined by James’ daughter Macy, Lisa wrote: "Holiday vibes @james_green83 @macyygreen Fun times… #takemebacl #imissNico," alongside three sunshine emojis and pink heart emojis.
And back in September it was reported that Lisa can't wait to marry her electrician boyfriend, who she has been dating since 2020 and who also shares a son with his former wife Kirsty.
Lisa and Ant announced their separation in 2018 and divorced in 2020 after 23 years together.
The former couple first met in 1994, and after 10 years together, the Britain’s Got Talent co-host popped the question while they were on holiday in Dubai.
They married in 2006 at a country house in Buckinghamshire, with Ant’s closest friend Declan Donnelly acting as best man.
Dec once again took on the role during Ant’s 2021 wedding to Anne-Marie, who has two teenage daughters from her first marriage.
The couple, who have been together since 2018, got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2020 and tied the knot in August last year in a star-studded ceremony attended by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.
