Emmerdale star Danny Miller revealed his unprecedented joy and delight on Sunday as he and wife Steph Miller announced the safe arrival of their second child together.
Taking to instagram to document the news, the couple shared a heartfelt photo of their growing family including the moment eldest son Albert got to meet his baby sister for the first time.
Dressed down for the occasion, the entire family could hardly contain their excitement as they smiled from ear to ear while posing for the adorable snap.
Albert, who was born just 22 months ago himself, looked especially impressed to have finally become a big brother to his new sibling, who was safely being cradled by his mum.
Alongside the photo the couple wrote: ”Twice the worry, twice the love, twice the joy. We feel so lucky right now.”
In addition, the couple also shared an adorable video of the new arrival, which featured Albert meeting his little sister for the first time in a precious, but heartfelt moment.
In the short clip, Albert could be seen tentatively walking towards his mum and baby sister, as Steph introduced his baby sister, who was wrapped snuggly in a grey blanket.
Danny then captioned the clip: "When three becomes four. Welcome to the World Baby Miller."
He then continued: "We all love you more than you’ll ever know."
Fans at home were also clearly loving the news, including a few famous faces who raced to the comments section to share their warmest wishes with the happy family
Former co-star Michelle Hardwick, who played Vanessa Woodfield in Emmerdale wrote: “Congratulations”
Meanwhile current cast member Kevin Mathurin commented: “Congratulations to you all, mate.”
Best known for playing Emmerdale icon Aaron Dingle, Danny first welcomed a son, little Albert, with wife Steph in 2021, just weeks before he embarked on a stint in a remote Welsh castle for I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.
However, in March 2023, the much loved star announced that his family was about to get even bigger, as he and Steph were expecting their second child together.
In a heartfelt announcement at the time, Danny wrote: “One more to adore. We can’t wait to meet you baby Miller.”
