The now 56-year-old was born Matthew D. Adler on December 8, 1966 in Los Angeles.
His first professions acting gig was in the television movie Shattered Vows (1984).

His last live action role came in ound footage superhero thriller film Chronicle (2012), with a cast that also included Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell, Michael B. Jordan, Michael Kelly and Ashley Hinshaw.
Since seemingly stepping away from the acting side of filmmaking, Adler has been working on additional dialogue recording for feature films.
