Nicola Thorp, 34, took to Twitter earlier today to share her confusion over Queen Camilla’s lookalike ladies-in-waiting.
The former Coronation Street star turned broadcaster joked that there were “two spare Camillas” at the Coronation ceremony, in a tweet shared in view of her 66,500 followers.
Sharing a photo of the Queen, Nicola quipped: “Nice to see they brought two spare Camillas just incase.” (sic)
Other Twitter users who had been tuning into the live broadcast voiced similar thoughts as they joined in on the joke.
@Gavreilly said: “Camilla’s lookalike ladies-in-waiting are giving big ‘glitch in the matrix’ vibes.”
@TheJollygunner added: “It’s only right and fitting that ‘Stunt Camilla’ has her moment…” while LailliMirza chimed in: “Camilla + her ladies in waiting are giving triplets.”
@Lauren_ethers typed: “Hahaha I was like ‘who are the lookalikes?’ Are they her ladies in waiting?”
@RanjeniM penned: “Do Camilla’s ladies in waiting or whatever they are called have to act as body doubles? I couldn’t figure out which one was her at first.”
But Nicola was not the only well-known name to share her views online, as celebrities across the country revealed their stance on the historical event.
TalkTV host Piers Morgan may be a royalist revealed he won’t be reciting an oath of allegiance to the new King today.

The former Good Morning Britain host branded the idea “daft” in his latest column for The Sun, before revealing he would never pledge his eternal fealty to Charles’s “heirs and successors”.
Hitting out at Charles’s son Prince Harry and his brother Prince Andrew, Piers penned: “I’ll be honest, I thought the idea of everyone crowding round their TVs to recite an oath of allegiance to the new King was daft and borderline North Korean in its anachronistic thinking.
“Not least because there’s not a cat in hell’s chance of me ever pledging my eternal fealty to his ‘heirs and successors’ if there’s even a remote possibility of that one day being either Prince Andrew or Prince Harry.”
Neither Prince Harry or Prince Andrew have a formal role in the Coronation ceremony.
Prince Andrew wore ceremonial robes of the Order of the Garter, despite no longer being a working member of the royal family.
