Eamonn Holmes tells Prince Harry ‘grow a pair’ amid Royal Family drama

Former This Morning host Eamonn Holmes has not held back his criticism as he discusses Prince Harry's best-selling memoir Spare.

Appearing in his regular slot on GB News, Eamonn, 63, launched into a scathing rant about the royal, beginning: "All this Will and Harry nonsense. Harry the Apache helicopter commander and talking about his brother slapping him in the face and he fell over a dog bowl and ripped his necklace off.

"You just think, ‘Oh, grow a pair for God’s sake.’ I’m sure in one blow he could’ve killed him if he’d wanted."

Eamonn, who has four brothers, compared his own sibling rivalries to the two princes, continuing: "If one of my brothers were sounding off like that I know what would happen.

"The phone would ring and it would be, ‘What are you doing? Sort yourself out, button your mouth, or else,’ and that would be it."

Eamonn joined the GB News a year ago after co-presenting episodes of This Morning alongside his wife, Ruth Langsford, for 15 years.

His feud with ITV was recently reignited after her made some savage comments during his show, admitting that there are certain people at his former channel who are “dead” to him.

And while he didn't name any names Eamonn previously made a dig at his former co-stars Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during last year's queue-jumping controversy.

Appearing on GB News's breakfast show alongside co-host Isabel Webster, the pair were set to interview some people who had queued to see the late Queen Elizabeth II's lying-in-state.

Isabel said: "[They] suffered that queue and they were not of any insignificant age, we’ll be talking to them after this."

To which Eamonn then replied: "What, Holly and Phillip?"

He then later liked a tweet calling for the duo to be sacked from their presenting duties on This Morning.

And Eamonn isn't the only TV star to jump ship from ITV to GB News, with former Loose Women panellist Saira Khan joining the controversial channel's line-up.

Taking to Instagram, Eamonn announced his excitement at being joined by one of his “best friends” on the morning show as he confirmed that Saira has signed up to co-host the GB Breakfast show.

Alongside a snap of the two posing together, Eamonn wrote: "Your Mon/Tues line up on GB Breakfast. Looking forward to hooking up with one of my best friends Saira Khan. We will be your presenting duo. Expect the unexpected 6 – 9.30 am.
