Eamonn recently revealed that he is going to be a grandfather for the first time.
While appearing on This Morning, the delighted Belfast-born presenter revealed his son Declan is going to be a father as his wife Jenny is set to welcome their first child together in July.
Eamonn began: “Thank you for bringing so much joy and happiness into our lives at this miserable time.
“It has been a very tough year for so many people, there is not much good news around, and I have been having a very tough week. It hasn’t been a good time and I’ve been in tears.”
His comments come after Eamonn revealed he had been suffering from chronic pain for several months.
He then showed a photo of his eldest son Declan and wife Jenny, while saying: “They have just announced that I, together with Valerie and Robin, Jenny’s mum and dad and Gabrielle, Declan’s mummy – we are all going to be grandparents.”
“Can you seriously believe I am going to be a Grandpa?” He added before joking that he is far too young.
