Sean “Diddy” Combs was in attendance at his son Christian Combs’s 23rd birthday party on April 1, 2021 – just not in person.
The musician contacted the L.A.-based startup PORTL to be beamed live from Miami, Florida, to L.A., where a holographic projection of Diddy was able to see and interact with the entire crowd in crisp, 4k resolution.
His daughters, Jessie, D’Lila, and Chance also tuned in using the first-of-its-kind holoportation device.
“Happy happy happy birthday to my King, my son, my twin, my love @kingcombs !!!” the singer wrote alongside an adorable portrait of the two. “I love you with all my heart and soul forever and ever and ever!! Lets f-ing go King!!”
Other celebrities in attendance at the party included Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg‘s son Cordell Broadus, Swae Lee, Winnie Harlow, and Young Thug.
